Steps:ย
Step 1: Choose the colored construction paper you want to use for the base of the bottle. Cut it in the shape of a bottle.ย
Step 2:ย Cut out your construction paper for the cover of the bottle and its base.ย
Step 3: Glue pieces together to form a bottle and wait for it to dry.
Step 4: Punch a hole in the โcoverโ of the bottle to attach the string.ย
Step 5: Put the string inย
Step 6: Decorate the ornament.
Step 7: Hang it on the tree.ย

Myrrh is a strange gift isnโt it? It is an expensive perfume that is put into embalming oil which is used to prepare dead bodies for burial. Why would anyone give that to the child Jesus?ย

You see, just like the gifts of gold and frankincense represented Jesusโs royalty and divinity, myrrh represented Jesusโs humanity and death. In ancient times myrrh was used as an anointing oil and in embalming the dead. The gift of myrrh foretold that Jesus would one day die for the sins of all of humanity.

That is why the wise men gave the young boy Jesus myrrh. It was to proclaim that Jesus would one day suffer and bear the sins of the world. This is the reason why Jesus was born. He came to earth as a baby in the manger to be the sacrifice to redeem humanity so that we no longer have to live under the curse of sin.ย
