The words of the Bible are not just human ideas or opinions. According to 2 Peter 1:21, the authors were carried along by the Holy Spirit, so what they wrote was what God wanted to say. A known theologian pointed out that to believe or disbelieve the Bible is to believe or disbelieve God. Because the Bible is Godโs word, weโre called to trust and submit to its full teachingโnot just the parts we like. God speaks to us through Scripture. Godโs word isnโt just meant to inform us; it is meant to transform us. The goal isnโt just to know more facts, but to be shaped by the word, so that we ๐ฎ๐ข๐บ ๐ฃ๐ฆ ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฆ, ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ช๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ ๐จ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฅ ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฌ. Scripture trains us to live like Jesus. It teaches us what is true, it corrects us when weโre wrong, and it helps us grow in godly character. As we read and obey His word, God makes us more like Christโnot overnight, but little by little, equipping us to reflect Him in everything we do.
